Nick Kamau is a highly experienced litigator who has practiced in many areas and settings, including as a public defender, a prosecutor (out of state), and in a number of areas of civil litigation. In addition to his wide breadth of courtroom experience, Nick also served during the Obama Administration, working as Democratic Counsel to the Oversight and Government Reform Committee under the late Congressman Elijah Cummings, where he prepared Members of Congress to defend Medicaid Expansion under the Affordable Care Act, which allowed millions of low-income Americans to gain Medicaid benefits.
