Judge Timika Lane is running for Superior Court, having spent the last decade as a judge in the Court of Common Pleas. Judge Lane was rated “Highly Recommended” by the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 2019, and “Recommended” in 2021, with no explanation from the Association on the change. Judge Lane is a former public defender, a well-respected jurist in the Criminal Division of the Court of Common Pleas, and would be only the second black woman elected to the Superior Court.
