The Second Ward Democrats endorse Mary Isaacson for re-election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (175th district). Isaacson is a political partner who fights for issues our community wishes to see great improvements on, such as common sense gun regulation, LGBTQIA2S+ and women rights, funding for public education, transparency from government, and affordable healthcare for all. She has sponsored 248 bills, including HR193, which recognizes the September as ‘Suicide Awareness Month’ and Sept. 10 2023 as ‘World Suicide Prevention Day’. Before Rep. Isaacson became a State Representative, she served constituents as the Chief of Staff to former State Rep Mike O’Brien.
