He made investment in public education and higher ed a priority for fiscal year 2020-21 and is committed to reinstating charter school reimbursements to recoup $225 million for the Philadelphia School District, as well as taxing Marcellus Shale drilling to further fund schools. He will also continue to fight to remove lead and asbestos from our schools.

He has a consistent voting record against any of the Republicans’s numerous attempts in Harrisburg to limit a woman’s right to reproductive healthcare. He is not only opposed to such efforts to curtail these rights, but has sought and will seek to expand women’s access to reproductive options and women’s healthcare in general.
